New Application Area option on an application area
The ‘New Application Area’ dialog is displayed.
Specify some name (ACCOUNTS) for the application area to be added and also provide some
description (optional) and press ‘OK’ button. This adds an application area ‘ACCOUNTS’ under the
cross-reference library. From the context menu on the application area ‘ACCOUNTS’, opt for the ‘New
Application Area’ option. Add a new application area as ‘ACHEAD01’. So, ‘ACHEAD01’ becomes a
sub application area under the application area ‘ACCOUNTS’.
The user can specify application area rules to include the objects meeting some criteria alternatively
perform right click on an object and add it to the desired area. Check the ‘Application Area Options’
available on the object.

Having done this, generate the application area diagram again by double clicking the ‘Application
Area Diagram’ node under the cross-reference. Note the ‘ACCOUNTS’ application area in turn
containing the ‘ACHEAD01’ application area.
